About organisation:

Gürsu Municipality has been one of the 17 districts of Bursa since 1930. It is a public institution located in Gürsu. It provides services to approximately 120.000 people. Some of the services of Gürsu Municipality are:Cleaning, Infrastructure, Social Services, Culture and Arts, Environment, Youth, Sports, Education, Tourism and many others. It is involved in many local and international projects. At the same time, our organization has the most active Eurodesk Contact Point in our city. Apart from this, it carries out its activities by attaching great importance to youth projects and professional development projects. It always increases its institutional capacity by making international cooperation. We have realized approximately 18 European Union projects. Apart from this, since 2019, approximately 29,000 young people have been served. Gürsu Municipality continues to work to make Gürsu a more livable city.

We realized our project with the grant we received within the scope of the Erasmus+ project Ka152 project and the support of the Gürsu Municipality, which is among our partners. We successfully realized our project with the financial and moral support of our international institutions. We carried out our field use and logistical support processes with the budget resources of our partners and our Erasmus+ project.

Objectives:

The main objectives of our project are to develop 21st century competencies and to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to succeed in today's complex and ever-changing world. These competencies include- Critical thinking and problem solving- Communication and cooperation- Creativity and innovation- Information literacy and digital skills- Citizenship and social responsibility- Learning to learn- Personal development through informal methods Activities of our project: - Workshops and courses: Sessions with theoretical and practical information on 21st century competencies were organized.- Workshops and practical workshops: Different sessions and informal methods were used to enable participants to develop competencies by experiencing them. Such as creativity, design thinking, gamification, effective communication methods, critical thinking methods. - Group work and projects: Sessions were organized to develop local and international cooperation and communication skills with the participants of our project. Support was provided for the personal development of our participants during and after the project. Infrastructure was created to enable participants from different countries to exchange knowledge and experience. Results of your project- Increased their knowledge and awareness about 21st century competencies.- They were enabled to apply these competencies in their daily and working lives.

How it ensured the visibility and promotion of Eurodesk:

Reaching the Target Audience:- Reaching Young People:o Promoting our project in places where young people often spend time such as schools, universities and youth centers.o Reached young people through social media platforms.o Cooperation was established with youth organizations and events.- Reaching Youth Workers:o Information and training sessions were organized for youth workers.o Prepared and distributed Eurodesk materials for youth workers.o Encouraged participation in networks of youth workers. - Reaching Decision Makers:o We made presentations about Eurodesk to local and national authorities. o Reports and statistics showing the benefits of Eurodesk were prepared and disseminated.o Advocated for policies and programs supporting Eurodesk in appropriate programs. Promotional Materials:- Prepared informative and attractive brochures, posters and flyers.- Actively used Eurodesk's website and social media accounts.- Created visual content such as videos, blog posts and infographics- Promoted Eurodesk through press releases and media work.Events:- Information days, workshops and seminars were organized to promote Eurodesk- We participated in youth festivals and fairs- We encouraged young people to get involved in Eurodesk through volunteer programs and internships.
