In cooperation with the Karlovy Vary Library and young people, an all-day program called Games Day was prepared. Various board games, competitions, and quizzes were presented in a fun and playful way. At the same time, opportunities for young people were presented, such as Erasmus+, Discover EU, information about solidarity projects, and volunteering. Students also prepared a VR gaming zone, which was a great success. They also organised a sleepover in the library, where board games were played throughout the night.

The programme was developed in collaboration with students, who chose for themselves which activities they would like to carry out. The implementation team was assembled in a way that ensured young people were represented and could influence the entire programme, as well as submit their suggestions for the implementation of the project.
What was the impact of the project?
One hundred people participated in the project during the day, fifteen were involved in its preparation, and they have already agreed to organise Comic Con next year, where they would like to present games and comics. Young people also appreciated the entertaining format and the large number of creative games that they could try out and borrow for themselves.
Did the project have any green focus?
No disposable tableware was used during the day, and containers for sorted waste such as paper, plastic, and glass were available everywhere.
How did you ensure Eurodesk's visibility in your project?
Eurodesk Info Point was available throughout the day. ED was widely promoted via social media, local newspapers and posters.
