Objectives:

"HYP Friday opportunity" wished to mobilise young people towards European opportunities. Our main objective was to promote Eurodesk as a source of information and its website as a place to empower young people to look for opportunities. Every Friday, we started publishing different opportunities through stories and posts from our accounts on Facebook and Instagram (with more than 50.000 followers). We also made TikTok videos promoting volunteering, internships and European opportunities. In every post, we provided more information on Eurodesk and its websiteThe initiative has been very successful. Our consistent followers repost HYP Friday opportunities and contact us for more information. Young people ask more about Eurodesk and participate on our info-days to find out more.

Why does it correspond to the thematic category:

We believe that offering this consistent and diverse opportunity every Friday from April to December is a creative way to address youth information. Some posts and videos received more than 10k views, which brought more awareness and empowerment to young people to apply for opportunities that are available to them and they might not know. Since the initiative was digital, young people residing in Greece had equal opportunities to access information, regardless of whether they had a Eurodesk multiplier in their city or not.

The initiative was fully digital; young people residing in Greece had equal opportunities to access information, regardless of whether they had a Eurodesk multiplier in their city or not. We also empower young people to search on their own and be able to have direct access to information.

In every post of "HYP Friday opportunity", we provide more information on Eurodesk and its website to empower young people to search on their own and be able to have direct access to information.
