General Overview

On 19 April 2024, Kohila Avatud Noortekeskus celebrated an international-themed day to introduce young people to European cultures through interactive and creative activities. The event featured EuroPeers guest Greta, who guided the youth in preparing traditional Austrian cuisine.

Before the cooking session, each participant randomly selected a European country, researched it, created a thematic poster, and presented their findings to the group. The day concluded with a Kahoot quiz about European countries, making learning fun and engaging.

The activities provided young people with new knowledge about European cultures, improved their teamwork and presentation skills, and allowed them to participate in practical and creative learning experiences. The use of digital solutions and adherence to green principles, such as Kahoot for an eco-friendly quiz, reinforced sustainable event planning.

The event was funded by Eurodesk activity support and highlighted Erasmus+ opportunities, with EuroPeers actively involved. Event impressions and insights were shared via Kohila Avatud Noortekeskus’ Facebook and Instagram to increase awareness and engagement.
